Marvel’s latest comic series, Star Wars: Inquisitors, is set to release on July 3, 2023. This series introduces a new Jedi, Tensu Run, who has emerged as a significant threat to the Sith.
Written by Rodney Barnes and illustrated by Ramon Rosanas, the series dives into the dark period following Order 66, focusing on the Inquisitors’ relentless pursuit of surviving Jedi.
Tensu Run, a Jedi who survived the massacre of Order 66, is determined to rebuild the Jedi Order and spread hope across the galaxy.
His actions have not gone unnoticed, drawing the attention of Darth Vader and the Inquisitors, who see him as a substantial threat to their dominance.
So far, the issue doesn’t reveal much about Tensu Run, and even the cover art up to issue 3 only shows a pair of hands gripping a blue-bladed lightsaber against the Fifth Brother.
However, the opening narration makes it clear that Tensu Run represents the ideological continuation of the pre-Order 66 Jedi Order.
For the Emperor and Vader to fear him, it’s likely he has something more concrete for them to worry about—perhaps evidence that the Jedi didn’t actually betray the Republic.
