Star Wars: The Acolyte Creator Leslye Headland Was Asked What Fans Need to Do to Ensure That a Season 2 Happens.

After the finale of Star Wars: The Acolyte, fans found themselves divided into two camps, those who didn’t enjoy the show and others who believed it was worth watching.

For those eager to see a second season, the show’s director, Leslye Headland, has a message for you.

In a recent interview with Collider, Headland shared how fans can help secure a second season. Her advice?

Spread positivity online and ignore the negativity from review-bombers. While it’s not a guaranteed solution, she believes it’s a step in the right direction.

She mentioned, “Truly, any online support and love you can send the show. It’s a little tricky because of the way that the internet works, but if you enjoyed the show and you want to see more of the story, any support that you can give the show on social media platforms would be super helpful.

Headland also encouraged fans to disregard the IMDb score, suggesting it doesn’t truly reflect the show’s quality. “Encourage your friends to watch the show. A lot of my work has been word of mouth. We were talking about the review bombing, so just telling people don’t pay attention to the IMDb score. If you enjoyed it, tell people.”
