Why Anakin HATED Training With Yoda

As every Star Wars fan knows, only a Jedi Master can train their Padawan, just as Qui-Gon trained Obi-Wan and Obi-Wan trained Anakin Skywalker to become a Jedi.

However, there was one time when Obi-Wan had to embark on a dangerous mission to retrieve an ancient Jedi Holocron.

He decided to leave his young Padawan under the temporary guidance of Master Yoda. Anakin, however, disliked training under Yoda.

Here is how

This story is depicted in the one-shot comic “Star Wars: Age of Republic – Obi-Wan Kenobi,” which is part of the “Star Wars: Age of Republic” series published by Marvel Comics and is part of the official Star Wars canon.

The comic begins with Obi-Wan Kenobi training Anakin Skywalker as his Padawan at the Jedi Temple. While teaching Anakin how to control the Force through Jedi meditation, Anakin demonstrates why he is the chosen one and strong with the Force. He effortlessly uses Force Telekinesis to control pebbles

Suddenly, news arrives from Jedi Master Tosan, reporting that the Jedi Council has discovered an ancient Jedi Holocron on the planet Dallenor in the mid-rim.

Understanding the mission’s danger, Obi-Wan assigns Anakin to stay at the Jedi Temple and continue his training with Master Yoda.

Obi-Wan says, “I shouldn’t be gone for long, and you can continue your training with Master Yoda.”

Anakin, looking disappointed, replies, “With the little kids? I’m already so far ahead of them.

After their conversation, Obi-Wan heads to the Jedi Temple Library to research the planet Dallenor. While researching, he encounters Master Yoda, who asks, “Take young Skywalker on this quest, will you?”

After a short conversation, Obi-Wan takes Yoda’s advice and allows Anakin to join him on the mission for the first time.
