Why Did Count Dooku HATE General Grievous Lightsaber Collection?

Why Did Count Dooku HATE General Grievous Lightsaber Collection?

Count Dooku, as we know, is a master of lightsaber combat, viewing lightsabers not just as weapons but as symbols of honor and skill.

But did you know that Dooku really hates General Grievous’s lightsaber collection?

It’s surprising, considering Dooku was the one who trained Grievous to be such a formidable duelist. So why did Dooku hate Grievous’s collection so much?

Here is why.

Count Dooku harbored a deep respect for what the Jedi Order once represented: peace, justice, and mastery of the Force.

However, over time, Dooku saw the Order as entangled in politics and corrupted by the system.

In his view, the Jedi had become pawns of the Galactic Republic, more concerned with serving politicians than adhering to their true purpose.

Dooku’s decision to dismantle the Jedi Order was driven by his desire to restore it to its former glory but with a significant twist.

He believed that by aligning the Order with the Sith, he could eliminate the political biases and governmental influences that had tainted it.

This alignment with the Sith wasn’t about embracing their malevolence but about adopting a more pragmatic and powerful approach to achieving peace and order in the galaxy.

He envisioned an Order free from the constraints of the Senate and the corruption he believed had infiltrated the Republic.

To Dooku, the Sith philosophy, with its focus on strength, clarity of purpose, and decisive action, offered a solution to the stagnation and moral decay he saw in the Jedi.

This perspective was heavily influenced by his master, Darth Sidious, who manipulated Dooku’s ideals to further his own goals.

In essence, Dooku sought to rebuild the Jedi Order not just to restore its lost honor but to transform it into a more effective and uncompromised force.

By eliminating the political entanglements and aligning them with the Sith’s pragmatic worldview, he aimed to create an Order that could truly protect and bring balance to the galaxy.

This vision was deeply rooted in his belief that the ends justified the means, even if it meant aligning with the dark side.
