How Does Ahsoka Tano Die?

How Does Ahsoka Tano Die?

To give a quick answer, Ahsoka Tano died briefly during the Clone Wars in 20 BBY, but she was revived. Other than that, she never suffered an on-screen death and her fate is still being unraveled as the Star Wars universe continues to expand.

Keep reading to learn more about Ahsoka’s life, the galaxy after order 66, and how Ahsoka avoided the dark side of the Force.

Although the future remains a mystery, there seems to be a lot in store for Ahsoka in the new Disney shows and possibly even on the big screen. Even though Ahsoka is included in several modern Disney Plus shows, fans want more and Disney has noticed.

How Old Is Ahsoka When She Dies?

Ahsoka was born in 36 BBY and died briefly in The Clone Wars in the year 20 BBY, making her 16 years old at the time of her first death. She was revived immediately after, and she continued to live for many years.

Sources speculate that Ahsoka went on to live until at least 1 BBY, and The Mandalorian showed she was still alive by 9 ABY. But the specifics of her life haven’t been documented in a Star Wars canon show yet.

Many fans think that the new Ahsoka series will cover the remainder of her life and explain how and when she has her final death.

How Does Ahsoka Come Back to Life?

In The Clone Wars, Ahsoka died for a very short period of time on the planet of the avatars. While on a mission to Mortis, Ahsoka was killed and would have remained dead if not for the sacrifice of a character named the Daughter.

Anakin uses The Daughter's life essence to bring Ahsoka back to life

The avatars of the Force were known as the Father, the Son, and the Daughter. These mysterious beings called Mortis their home.

The Daughter was the avatar that embodied the light side of the Force. She forfeited her own life in order to bring Ahsoka back from the dead.

Even though the Daughter died, Ahsoka got to live on and fulfill her destiny as Anakin’s padawan.

Does Ahsoka Ever Turn To The Dark Side?

Despite the fall of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka never gives in to the dark side of the Force as her master did. She even confronts Anakin after he becomes Darth Vader, but is unsuccessful in her attempts to bring him back to the light.

There was a brief moment in the Clone Wars where Ahsoka grappled with the dark side of the Force and fought Anakin on the planet Mortis. However, she returned to the light and continued her Jedi training.

After Anakin fell to the dark side and Palpatine executed order 66, Ahsoka didn’t follow in Anakin’s footsteps. She was hunted down like the rest of the Jedi, but she faked her own death and fled into exile.

Conclusion

Even though much is still unknown about Ahsoka Tano’s life, it’s clear that Disney is still putting together the pieces of her story. She is not dead yet, and it’s possible that the new Ahsoka series may answer a lot of these questions.

Despite having already died once, Ahsoka is still at work in many of the Star Wars stories. She remains a crucial part of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

While the details of her second and final death are still speculation, it’s fair to say that we will find out soon enough when her story is completed.
