The Hidden Clue in The Clone Wars That Foreshadowed the Clone Army’s Turn to Evil

The Hidden Clue in The Clone Wars That Foreshadowed the Clone Army’s Turn to Evil

Believe it or not, the Clone Troopers from the Clone Wars series were hinted to become evil. We just didn’t notice it.

Here’s how the Clone Troopers were subtly shown to be the villains in the series.

In Western media, villains often move from right to left on the screen. This is evident in many films, including Star Wars.

Most of the time, the villain or a character who will become evil is shown moving from right to left.

Let’s look at the first example from Star Wars: Attack of The Clone. In the battle between Count Dooku, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin, Obi-Wan and Anakin start on the right side of the screen, while Dooku is on the left.

Anakin rushes towards Count Dooku without hesitation, hinting at his future turn to the dark side.

However, after Anakin is attacked and knocked out by Dooku’s Force Lightning, Obi-Wan moves around the circle with Dooku.

Before their battle, we see Obi-Wan on the left side of the screen, representing the good guys, and Dooku on the right side of the screen, representing the villain.

Another example is from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, where Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan face Maul. Again, Maul appears from the right side of the screen, while Qui-Gon and his apprentice Obi-Wan are on the left.

Now, let’s talk about the Clone Troopers from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Most of the time, they move from the right side of the screen to the left, hinting that they are the villains. Their fate is sealed with Order 66.

However, we do know that some troopers aren’t completely bad. Characters like Rex, Fives, and the Bad Batch are aware of Order 66 and choose to resist it.

There is a clear scene from the Bad Batch series that shows this conflict between Clones. On one side, we have Rex and the Bad Batch, positioned on the left of the scene. On the other side, we see Wolffe, who is still working for the Empire, positioned on the right.
