The Survivor: Story of the Longest Living Clone Trooper

The Survivor: Story of the Longest Living Clone Trooper

In the Star Wars universe, clone troopers were bred on the stormy world of Kamino, designed to age at double the rate of normal humans.

This genetic modification ensured they were ready for combat in half the usual time, a boon for the Galactic Republic during the tumultuous Clone Wars. However, this also meant their service and lives were brutally short, with the war’s end often marking their twilight years.

Among these soldiers was CT-6116, known as Kix, a medic in the elite 501st Legion whose destiny would diverge dramatically from his brothers-in-arms.

A Discovery and a Disappearance

Kix’s dedication to his fellow troopers extended beyond the battlefield. His investigation into a malfunctioning biochip led him to uncover the grim reality of Order 66.

Before he could warn the Jedi or his clone brethren, Kix was captured by the Separatists. In an ironic twist of fate, he was placed in cryogenic stasis for future interrogation.

Amidst the chaos of the Clone Wars, his cryopod was lost, casting him into an involuntary journey through time.

Awakening Among Pirates

50 years later, Kix’s pod was discovered by none other than the Crimson Corsair, Sidon Ithano, and his band of pirates. Waking up to a galaxy under the rule of the First Order, Kix found himself in an era where the Galactic Republic and the Clone Wars were but distant memories.

Despite the initial shock, his transition from a clone trooper to a member of a pirate crew was swift. Under Crimson Corsair’s flag, Kix embarked on a new chapter of adventures, leveraging his combat and medical expertise in the fringes of the galaxy.

His life, once defined by the rigid structure of the Republic’s army, was now filled with the freedom and camaraderie of the pirate life.

Wrap up

Kix’s extraordinary status as the longest-living clone trooper is not a result of natural genetics or a quirk of fate but a direct consequence of being lost in time.

His inadvertent cryogenic preservation during the Clone Wars halted the accelerated aging process that defined the existence of clone troopers.

While his brethren aged rapidly and faced the end of their service lives within decades, Kix remained frozen, untouched by time, until his awakening in an era far removed from the one he knew.
